Jonathan Baines, MD/PhD (Tlingit/Tsimshian) is a family physician at the Mayo Clinic. He graduated from Arizona State University (BS Chemistry, BS Microbiology ’94) and attended the Mayo MD/PhD program. He received his MD and PhD (Tumor Biology) in 2004. After a preliminary year of General Surgery and a year of a postdoc, he completed a residency in Family Medicine in 2009. He currently practices full spectrum Family Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He is on the MD and MD/PhD admissions committees and medical director for Mayo’s Native American Pathway Programs.
